My stay at Upendo House was truly enjoyable. the central location made exploring Stone Town a breeze, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The rooftop pool was a good spot to relax, especially at sunset. However, my room experienced some noise from the street and construction nearby, which was a bit distracting at times.

The service was fantastic. from the moment I arrived I was welcomed with a fresh juice and a cool towel, and Daniel at reception was incredibly helpful throughout my stay.

The location is perfect. I could easily walk to all the must-see spots in Stone Town, and I loved being so close to the sea. It was less than a five-minute stroll to the night food market.
